The German eagle breaks its chains, below the coats of arms of the affected provinces: Rhineland, Baden, Hesse, Rhine Palatinate, Nassau and Westphalia. Height 23 cm, diameter 24 cm. 1930.
On June 30, 1930, all occupation troops withdrew from the Rhineland (wiki). They consisted mainly of British and French and their departure triggered a wave of enthusiasm in Germany.
