310427 MENUS AND TABLE ACCESSORIES Louis Klemich and others. A collection of 56 Dresden menus, mainly for weddings between 1889 and 1905, from 12 different printing houses, with embossed printing and many with gold and silver. From circa 121x88 to 233x153 mm. Circa 1900.
Louis Klemich occasionally refers to himself as „Kgl. Hoflith.“ (royal court lithographer), Woldemar Türk is „Kgl. Sächs. Hofl.“ (royal Saxon court supplier). Other printers were G.H. Rehfeld & Sohn, Johann Frey, Cohne & Northmann, Chr. Berteaux, Wilh. Klemich & Co, Johann Paessler, Hermann Braess, Lehmannsche Buchdr., Hansa and finally the printing house of the Dr. Güntzsche Stiftung, formerly E. Blochmann & Sohn. Among the occasions, apart from weddings and silver wedding anniversaries, we have the Day Ball of the Dresden Rowing Club in 1901, the Foundation Festival of the Dresden Liedertafel in 1905, the Saxon Community Day in 1905...
Partly with folding marks, occasionally somewhat stained, overall in good condition.
