The ship was commissioned in 1925 under the name Gripsholm, it was then renamed in Berlin by Norddeutscher Lloyd in 1955. It sailed the North Atlantic, often on the Bremerhaven-New York liner service. The menus are illustrated in color with German landmarks on the first page (Bremen City Hall, Berlin Victory Column, Cologne Cathedral, Neuschwanstein... - 2 pictures have been used twice).
Occasional slight folding marks and small stains.
