Pages 1 to 10 are filled in, the rest are white. After Riedel, confirmed and allegedly also vaccinated, had stayed in Meerane with her mother, she was allowed in 1874 with the approval of her guardian, the publican Wagner to go into service. Three entries from Zwenkau testify to this: she was always faithful, honest and hard-working, but was dismissed due to prolonged illness. Glauchau and Meerane are located halfway between Gera and Chemnitz, Zwenkau somewhat south of Leipzig.
