310467 Book-shaped box. On the front cover in an inlaid frame „Andenken“, on the back cover „Kappel.“ in fraktur. The spine can be pulled out, from it hangs a rectangular compartment, possibly for a deck of cards. 143x95 mm. Circa 1900.
Made of 3 types of wood: the back and corners of walnut, the lids of cherry, the cut and fillets of poplar. Determination of the types of wood is not entirely certain, but it was made by an expert.
A small crack at the front board, otherwise very good conservation.
